Miniature Fake Sweets Tutorials Episode 1, Tarts.

HELLO!

It's SugarCherries's 1st fake sweets tutorial! How's that?!
HA!
I've always been wanting to do one!
Anyways, this is how it goes.. I wouldn't be really explaining for every single photo but I'd be pointing out tip's that more complicated or not really shown in the pictures itself. :D

So let's cut those ~~crap~~ out and get going!

This is Fuwa Fuwa clay mixed with Daiso's clay ratio's about 2 : 1 ±

Using Yellow Ocher, Poster colour.

Roll it into a ball and use any tools you could find eg. back of a pen. I basically just used my fingers, its not hard to achieve what it looks like below.

And you should have something like this :D

Make sure you rotate it 45° and 75°

You could use similar tools like needles or toothpicks to achieve this :)

And there it is!

People keep asking me how I make those 'crackly' lines/texture. My answer is, play with those clays! Understand their textures! I should really do a Daiso's clay review soon ya!!??

Ok, so.. The one on the left is just pure Daiso clay. And the right is the same above :)

So here are some of the ideas I have for tarts bases!

I'd definitely prefer using just pure Daiso's clay for tart base cause it's much easier, all i have to do is just pressing it down and VIOLA! Plus I really like those massive cracks! :)

Of course, that's just my opinion and it really depends what you're really going for :D

With best blueberries, strawberries and red currents. Yes.

With what very unpleasant flaws of cream there I sincerely apologies. My bad.

Review - Wood Formo. self-proclaimed, poop clay.

Hi guys!

As promised, Wood Formo clay review is up!

Ok, as for that title on the self-proclaimed thing is abit... Cute! Hahahaha, ok... you guys will understand.. Just keep scrolling down and watch :D

Chunks of fresh Wood Formo.

Texture wise, its pretty hard to handle cause it sort of cracks or crumble into pieces easily. So that makes it not a really good clay to work on its own. Unless you mix it with another type of clay.

It does have a weird smell like... preserved plums?

It has those like, tiny hairy fiber. Interesting.

So here's a comparison.

When unmixed, with other clay, its really hard to get them together. It crumbles easily..
When mix, its very good to work with. Of course, that depends very much on the type of clay you mix with, you definitely want to mix it with something soft like Fuwa Fuwa or Hearty clay.
- It can be molded into any shape you want. But it doesn't holds detail very well.
- Ratio also depends very much on what texture you want it to be. Add more if you want something more manageable then it will also go lighter in terms of colour. Effect would be opposite if you add lesser, of course.

It dries to about 2 ~ 3 shades lighter.

So you do wanna add some colour if you want it dark & knead really well.

When cured, its very very hard when pressed, but it's also so stiff that it cracks very easily... Just like biscuit..

LOL! This is what i'm talking about! HAHAHAHA!

This isn't really the best poop I've made tho.. But it really does look like my dog's poop.

I did a prank on my brother and he was so pissed! HAHAHA! And says I'm sucha lamer...

Seriously.. Who cares!! HAHAHAHAHA!

Ahem.. Back to work.

Some of the ways is definitely biscuit bases for my cheese cakes!

This 1st batch of cheese cake doesn't go so well cause the base was definitely too thick for my liking :( Ohhh well...

Heya peepos!

It has been awhile since the last post! I've been working on lots of fruits lately, and they are really tedious to do... Also some of my about-to-finish products! Can't wait to finish'em all but I'm so slow on my work! hehhhh :D

I actually mixed until the stick breaks! Can imagine how hard is it to mix all those clay into the right consistency, you'll need lots of strength and patience! *out-of-breath

Did a clay craft related purchase recently!! Some of you might be wondering why i actually specify 'clay craft related' cause some things just doesn't make so much sense. But anyways, i shall just continue...

Have purchased this awesome clays few weeks back from tinkleartncrafts Super friendly & fast service, items are packed nicely too :D
I've also purchased some keychain findings together but I didn't include them in the picture cause I've already kept them away and was lazy :)
So far I've only tried Wood Formo and Cosmos clay. I haven't got the chance/reason to open up the rest to use yet, mainly because my lock&lock container(is an air-tight container i use to keep all my clays from getting dried when its open) is packed with full of clay and there's no room for other clays to join in yet :(

Fuwa Fuwa Clay!
Is my ultimate favorite clay of all. Maybe it's because i used them alot, that's why?
I think this is my 6th and 7th packs of clay purchased. It's super soft, it doesn't leave sticky residue on your hands, no bad odor and all! The best light-weight/paper clay I've worked with so far.
I haven't put my hands on Hearty Soft yet just because the pack was kinda huge and i didn't really found any good place to store them yet, so I'm not opening it anytime from now :(
But will definitely so a review of Fuwa Fuwa clay soon! Just cause its so super damn awesome :D

Some random purchase of mini furniture! It was too cute for me to resist not to buy them!
Was debating with myself whether or not to paint them! OMG, I just can't make up my MIND! Talking about indecisiveness?! Shyyyt.

Cute animal note pads! Super cute! But really small at the same time.. It's like smaller than my palm :( But its CUTE!! HAHAHA yes, this is the thing i was mentioning above. And there's some thing related not directly to the clay craft but I bought this for a purpose to complete my design if that make sense.

Heello peeps!

Haven't been very productive and efficient lately, on both my blog and everything else :( I was being lazy, pure lazy. Is the only thing i can describe myself now, or maybe a 'pig'? since everyone was calling me that now! Oh my godddddddd.

But I'm still definitely not beyond hopeless!

A 'bulletin' board (thats what i called) i bought from Daiso.
It's for my tiny wall space. I thought it would be cute to pin-up all my Things-to-do and inspirations up :D

I have no idea whats this called but i remembered eating one of these.
They're unfinished yet but... It's not very successful anyways, so... Next please.

Initial - Welcome, peeps :)

Hello peeps!!

The very first post, hmmmmmm......
Lets start with a very brief intro bout me!
Sayy....... I have lots and lots of hobbies, like, cooking, baking, crafts, photography, etc etc... Guess i have too many of em' till I'm not really good at any of them, but i still love them! So, that's why, after much consideration was put into it I've finally decided to incorporate them into one entire blog instead of separate blogs for each individual. Uh well, that isn't important anymore since decision have been made :D

Moving on to me, aside from all the hobbies I've got myself into.. I'm actually, currently still a student, pursing my master's in accounting (longgg longg wayy...) Aside from that I'm also working a part-time at my mum's florist. So I'm technically a florist, too. And yes, I AM certified (was prolly a year ago) Currently also taking up management courses in florist industry. So that's for my educational background.

To make things short, lets compile the rest to general. So, generally, this blog would be a place where i share my hobbies, mainly, miniature sweets clay craft, flower arranging, baking & cooking. It's kind of like anything and everything that is me, that i enjoy! To everyone of you who might have the same pretty and cutesy interest as me! HAHAHAHA :D

And to end this very first post nicely, I've got a few pictures of my works :D
